MiniMe Dyes Easter Eggs ::Ep.2::

In this little episode of MiniMe, we dye Easter eggs! We had a lot of fun decorating these eggs, and we thought we would share with you! MiniMe and I hope you enjoy these few pictures;

First we prepared our eggs, and gathered them to the table.

We have our eggs ready!

Then we mixed our dyes together, and set them at our work place. We may have spilled a little, but no harm done ;)

Every color of the rainbow! (except red...)

We also found our box of crayons, so we can make fun designs on our eggs. There seems to be a stray marker in the box.... Using crayons is my favorite way to decorate my eggs, nice and simple!

Oh no! MiniMe fell in!
MiniMe found the little egg dropper thing,(Is there a special name for those?) But we ended up using a spoon anyways, because its easier for me to use.

Its so shiny!

Now that we have all of our supplies together, we started designing our eggs! My first(and favorite) egg was a SuperMan egg! Using our beloved crayons, we (mostly me) started drawing the SuperMan insignia.

beautiful!

When we dyed it blue, it ended up looking like this:

I think that this egg would even make Clark Kent proud.

After some time, and a lot of mess, we finished the rest of the eggs. I liked them all, but my favorite was definitely our Superman one.

Lovely!

My other two favorite eggs were my Batman, and my Hello Kitty egg. I had actually seen someone else to the Hello Kitty egg design, but i don't remember who. I thought it was so cute that I just had to try it! So, whoever first designed that super cute egg, I love it!

Adorable!

Thanks for reading! Have a great day!

MiniMe Goes to the Dentist ::Ep. 1::

This week, MiniMe had a dentist appointment! Needless to say, she wasn't too excited.(She doesn't like the dentist.) She wasn't very happy as we got into the car and drove over there, but she had at least brought a book with her to read while she waited, to take her mind on of it. when we got there, she was very brave and checked in herself.

Then she sat and waited, read a little bit of her book, until her name was called. She was kinda nervous but she managed to keep her cool.

When her name was called, she just smiled and walked back with the Hygienist. She was hoping that she didn't have any cavities!

Luckily, MiniMe had clean, healthy teeth, and she wouldn't have to go back to the dentist for 6 months.

Have a great day!

First Post/Jackalope

Yay! First post! I was trying to find something really fun and original to start off this blog, but I couldn't. So this first post will be about something that I made a few weeks ago.

Geffery the Jackalope
This is Geffery (with a 'G') the Jackalope, my latest felt creation. It only took me a few hours to make, and I am pretty happy with the results. I got the pattern here. I really like a lot of Aimee Ray's work, its very whimsical, like a fairy tale. She has a few books out, I have the first one; Doodle Stitching. I've been looking at getting her second book; Doodle Stitching: Embroidery and Beyond. I like the toadstool pincushion on the cover of the book, super cute!

In case you've never heard of of a Jackalope, it is a mythical creature. Almost a cross between a rabbit and an antelope, i guess? Here is the Wikipedia page about them.

My Jackalope, 'Jeffery', is about 3 inches tall. I just used everyday craft felt you can get from Hobby Lobby, same with the thread. I think i really need to practice my stitches! ;) I just carry him around with me in my bag, and take pictures of him around town. Its a fun little project that's not very time consuming.

oh, and here is the link to Aimee Ray's blog.

Hope you have a funnerific day! And keep on Creating!
